How we help
You decide how much or how little help you’d like. If you’re stuck for a start point, here are some of the ways we make everyday life easier, more satisfying, and more fun for our clients:
Making morning or evening routines run smoothly
Cooking, cleaning, gardening, getting to the gym
Budgeting, bill paying, building your confidence
Finding solutions, friends, your feet in new situations
Need some of this or something completely different? We’re listening.
‘It’s a pleasure to see my aunt so well-groomed and cared for and above all, extremely happy.’
‘Since coming to Mirrors Care, my aunt has great community access and is always out and about enjoying her life the way she should. She always looks lovely with her earrings and nail polish; her hair is always immaculate. It’s a pleasure to see her so well-groomed and cared for and above all, extremely happy.’

Daily Living Skills FAQ
Can you help me learn to do day to day tasks on my own?
Yes! You decide which daily tasks you want to do for yourself, and we’ll make this happen.
You can choose to learn and practice them in a group or one on one with your Mirrors Care support worker.
Whether you want to catch a bus, cook up a storm, or master any other regular daily activity, we’ll show you how.
Can you give me regular help at home?
We can! Your Mirrors Care support worker can help you at home for the hours and days that work for you and are covered by your NDIS Plan or another funding source.
If you need our help with things like morning or evening routines, cooking and cleaning, managing your money, making friends, shopping or sport, we’ll be there.
How is support for Daily Living Skills funded under the NDIS?
Your NDIS Plan will cover support for daily living skills under one of these two categories:
- Core – Assistance with Daily Life
- Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living Skills
